How does one go from kinky fantasy, or attending parties, to playing comfortably? We cover how to select toys, how to structure a scene, how to find and prepare a partner, and what techniques to try first. We anticipate common problems and show how to deal with them. Step-by-step, we show what needs to be done before, during, and after a scene, by both partners, in order to have a fun and safe time.

Angela and Iain are officers in the Society of Janus, Dungeon Monitors for SF Citadel and elsewhere, and teach BDSM classes at all levels, at many venues. Their teaching style combines humor and approachability with clarity and thorough research.
This is a low-cost class, compliments of SF Citadel and the presenters. Your sliding scale payment helps to maintain SF Citadel. SF Citadel is a large, permanent play space in San Francisco.
Reservations not required. You don't need to bring or wear anything special. If time is tight, you can bring dinner to eat during the class. The class is open to anyone 18 years and older with a sincere, positive, personal interest in BDSM / leather / kink. All roles, genders, and orientations welcome. If you have questions you may write to edukink AT yahoo DOT com

What past attendees have said:
“They make complicated stuff understandable.”
“Don’t miss any of it.”
“I thought there was gonna be, like free girls and stuff. What’s up with that?”

“Your First Scenes” is part of the monthly Newcomers Series of six low-cost BDSM classes mainly for those in their first three years in the face-to-face scene. The classes may be taken in any order, and there is very little overlap/duplication between them, so consider attending all of them.
The next part will be “Beginner’s Dungeon” on Thursday October 6th, also at SF Citadel.
